Ousia, is the sound of tomorrow, ambient electronic flutters, trance inducing rhythms, and guitar flourishes, creating tripped up experimental soundscapes that redefine electronica. This is the crossroads where Techno and Prog meet.

Ousia (Pronounced ooh see' ah) play ambient drone electronica. Analog synths rest comfortably with samplers, guitars and an array of acoustic percussion. All working together to create a seamless and infinite soundscapes. The group, originally called "Blue Shift," was formed in the fall of 1996 and proved to be quite popular in both the techno and experimental rock scenes, thanks in part to their unique live performances (they dress up in identical alien costumes) They also serve as the house group for the "Future Perfect" series of events.
