Formed in 1991 in Australia, the indie-rock band Screamfeeder was led by vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Tim Steward, initially accompanied by bassist/vocalist Kellie Lloyd and drummer Tony Blades. While several albums and EPs remain out of print in the U.S., the aforementioned lineup can be heard on 1994's Burn Out Your Name. 1999's Kitten Licks featured new drummer Dean Shwereb, as well as a few songs which first appeared on 1997's Closing Alaska EP.
