This release combines Little Annie's brand-new EP Short And Sweet with her 1993 album In Dread With Little Annie, making it the ideal introduction for those unfamiliar with the smoky-tongued chanteuse, as well as a must-have for loyal fans. Little Annie, formerly Annie Anxiety, began her musical career at age 17 with the notorious Asexuals. Later Annie immigrated to England and teamed up with Penny Rimbaud of Crass on the harrowingly brilliant single "Barbed Wire Halo," which was entirely composed of cut- ups and tape loops (a method Annie still employs today). Annie has also collaborated in various capacities with Lee "Scratch" Perry, Bim Sherman, Andy Warhol, Gary Clail, The Wolfgang Press and numerous others.
