Produced by Jamie Rouch The Rouch Bros are Guests: Jamie and Terry Rouch are real honest-to-God American Farmers, but even if they grew five hundred pound pumpkins their greasest accomplishment would still be the amazing body of music they have produced. These guys were making their own four-track recordings long before Liz Phair got her first period and despite their relative isolation in tiny Royal Center, Indiana, they seem to have a grasp of the last seventy or so years of musical history that informs their fearless approach to songwriting. Aside from the long-out-of-print "Zero Degrees" vinyl record (recorded under the Atomic Bums monniker) "Big Load" is their only publicly released work, and a fine piece of work it is. Listen to "Cool or Cold" or "My Brain's Too Small" and if you are not moved, well... You're probably one seriously cynical mother @#%! that is probably doomed to a shallow, frustrating life before dying penniless in some damp, noisy waiting room... Don't let that happen! Get This C.D. !!!
