Fall 1999

After spending the early months of 1999 on the road with Speedealer and Queens of the Stoneage, they finished with a local show with Buck Cherry.

Likehell spent the summer months writing new material, which has recently been used in two projects. The first was a "single" called "Angel" with guitar and engineering work by Danny Murphy (Soul Asylum). The second project brought the fellas out to Los Angeles where they played a show in Hollywood at the Troubadour with Unida (Kyuss) and Nebula (Fu Manchu).

They then weathered their way out to the desert to record a brand new Full length in Palm Springs California at Monkey Studios with Josh Homme (Queens/ Kyuss) at the helm. These ten brand new songs are hotter than the desert they were recorded in. Likehell fans of old and new are in for a very pleasant suprise. This new record will be mixed and mastered in the early fall with hopes of an early 2000 release. What other band do you know goes and does a full Canadian tour in Jan/Feb and then goes to the desert in the middle of the summer to record an album?
